Teen Dd wants some. Seems like Sainsbo, Superdrug & Boots are all out of stock at moment. Not easily finding it online but prefer real shops, anyway. Would be nice to avoid paying delivery charge. Thanks for any other suggestions of brick shops to look for it.

Health food shops, pharmacy

Online Holland & Barrett only have version with alcohol in it.

But yeah, I can spend part of Monday trawling pharmacies or H&B in the nearest city. May get lucky. Our local Sainsbury's doesn't have it in store.

Essential oil shop? Whereabouts in the country are you?

lljkk · 08/12/2018 21:07

Norfolk, so Norwich will be my trawling place. There used to be a headshop there I know how to find.

I know of a shop that sell witch hazel water - is that the right stuff? I use their floral waters, specifically rose, or orange blossom as a second choice, as a facial toner. They are Yorkshire based, though.

There may be online stockists that do similar things.

I always get mine in Home Bargains

Boots/superdrug sometimes sell distilled witch hazel in the medicine aisles as do larger supermarkets near the wound care stuff so it's worth a look, the care+ onw used to be alcohol free but not sure about now. Otherwise if you have Amazon prime you could probably get some delivered next day? Might have to trawl through ingredients lists though! Is she sure she really wants it? It smells awful! If it's for spots or similar it's probably not going to produce a miracle either, it's pretty drying from the bottle as it is, even without the alcohol content. Great for Piles apparently though! Wink

I looked everywhere & finally found the alcohol free stuff ONLY in QD. The version with alcohol was sold widely in other places, priced £1.90 to £4 for exact same size bottle (Home Bargains was most pricey, iirc). Thanks for replies.
