How old is TOO old for footless tights?

I am 28 and wore a pair today with a denim skirt and white vest top and hooded cardi.

My sister said I looked like a twat as only teenagers wore skirts and footless tights.

I am only 4ft something so it's not like I have huge long legs. I don't look old, I was asked for ID going into a club last week!

Is 28 too old?

Well im 28 too and i wear stuff like that all the time...however i did bump into one of my mums friends in the street and she exclaimed "oh look at you, you look like a teenager!!!"

i bought some legging the other day, that same day in the car with dp, he pointed out some girls wearing leggings and said how he thought they looked so silly!! i told him about the ones id bought, he wasnt very happy! i returned them any way as they made my thighs look huge!!

I went through this very same thought the other day. I decided with a denim skirt I was too old (30)-dp agreed!! but my sister wears this look all the time (26)and looks ok.

It's individual choice, if you feel comfy go for it !!

Sara Cox had some on the other day and she's 32 - not with denim skirt though - don't know if this makes a difference.

If you call tehm footless tights then you are too old!

celebs seem to be able to get away with it when theyre older it seems!!

I am 33 5'8" and size 16 - my mum bought me a tourquoise pair - she seemed to think I would wear them???????

Theres a difference between footless tights and leggings. The footless tights go down to the ankles or almost, leggings normally end just below the knee and are thicker material.

So my 11 year old tells me

It says so on the packet

I bought 2 more pairs today actually

Damn, I just can't turn down a bargain!

Leggings are thicker too.
