What do we think about fur gilets?

Are they still in? Or are they a bit naff and middle aged?
For context I am middle aged (47)

I think the fact that I can’t bring myself to buy one (they’re down to £20 in New Look today!) means they’re not for me

Must be in fashion again, Matalan have loads in, and New look,

I've got one and love it, it's a minky pink Oasis one and it makes me very happy. I wear mine on a night out over a dress. I'm hoping it looks more hippy chic than prostitute chic! 😂

I have a couple from years ago (says it all!) and still wear them - tends to be on a cold miserable day when I need to be warm in the office

I make sure everything else I'm wearing is 'slim' and fitted

I am a 'wear what you want' rather than a 'fashion' person though

Not keen personally. But I dislike most fur/fake fur products. With the exception of hats!

I like them but my chest is too big to wear gilets

They are very dated. Better to go for a full faux fur coat or jacket.
