Liquid or pencil?

pencil I apply it round the lash line, but not on the inside because it makes your eyes shrink

liquid in a streak along the upper lash line

If you pop into the bodyshop, they will actually show you.

depends where you are putting, inside eye, above eyelid or below eyelids??

Some of the liquid ones are really hard to use and ALWAYS go on wobbly. Loreal do one in a kind of "marker pen" which goes on in a nice even line.

I do mine the same as Colditz says. You could try dark brown liner rather than black, if you find black a bit startling - not being used to it, I mean.

Pencils work better when they're not over-sharp and when they're warm.

Get yourself one of those angled or flat brushes. Start using a dark coloured eyeshadow. Pull the corner of your eye out and lift your brows. Place the brush along the lash line, leaving a bit of shadow, move it to the bit that's missing the colour and do the same.

Much easier than using pencils or eyeliner brushes.

Thanks everyone!

Whenever i do try (not very often really) it just ends up looking such a wobbly mess i have to completely start again-resulting in me getting upset and being even more late!

I don't know if its just lack of practice or that i've got wobbley lashes (my hands are very steady!)

Any more hints and tips lovely ladies? x
