Hair dryer with built in brush - Has anyone used one ?

I am crap at sorting my hair out whilst drying it and I have less time now than ever so people are getting used to seeing me having a "bad hair day" for days on end.

I saw one of these hot air brush dryer things advertised recently but wondered if it would help me get my hair looking closer to the way it does when I've just had it cut and blow dried by my hairdresser.

Are they any good, is it easier to achieve some semblence of a "style" than with a brush in one hand and a hairdryer in the other ?

The only dryer I know of with a brush is in fact a hot brush that blows heated air through the center of the tong. It is called a Duo Styler by Hair Tools. I bought one about six months ago from www.salon-sales.co.uk it works really like a set of hair tongs only quicker because of the air blower.

The wet to straight straighteners are v good if it is indeed straight hair you are after.

My mum swears by hers. She cannot do her hair with anything else. But I have no idea what make it is or anything.

I have one like this:

www.johnlewis.com/Fashion/Beauty/Hair+Stylers/Hair+Stylers/1974/230399020/Product.as px

which I use with the hair brush device. I have a shoulder length bob and on the days I dont wash my hair its quite handy just to spray hair with a little water and use the styler to re-do fringe and curl the ends under. I also have GHDs but dont like using them all the time.
