Are those underwear peg things any good?

You know, the ones that clip onto your washing line nad have a round thing underneath with lots of little pegs on, for underwear. Do they work, or do you end up with damp knickers?

Yes, they're good if you'res hort of line space. Things do take longer to fry, obviously, but get there in the end.

nearlythere · 22/06/2007 10:57

why are you frying knickers?

MamaG · 22/06/2007 10:59

my knickers are hot stuff already I don't need to fry them

I have one but hang it in airing cupboard not on the line.. Tis good, generally can fit all underwear from a wash on there and it dries really quickly.

MamaG · 22/06/2007 11:00

Ta nutty, thats a good idea

sorry, didn't spot htat. One-handed typong.

SoupDragon · 22/06/2007 11:05

I@ve got some from Ikea (shaped like an octopus as it happens). I@ve not noticed them taking longer to dry and they're fab as you only have to snatch [snurk] one thing off the line when it's raining! Great for indoors too where drying space is limited- I hang them from a curtain pole above a radiator, stylish but effective!

MegaLegs · 22/06/2007 11:06

I use mine for socks so that I don't have to individually peg 50 socks to the line - tis brill! Also useful for camping.

WideWebWitch · 22/06/2007 11:07

They are bloody brilliant.

MamaG · 22/06/2007 11:08

Right I'll buy one (from Ikea, I want an octopus)

LilRedWG · 22/06/2007 15:21

Good idea Nutty! going to put mine in the airing cupboard from now on!

LilRedWG · 22/06/2007 15:21

Congratulations MamaG!

Mine's yellow.

brimfull · 22/06/2007 15:24

I can never see the point of these things except to save space on the line.
I prefer hanging the small stuff on radiators or on the garden furniture.I am much to lazy to peg a million socks.
