FitFlop F Sporty II Leather Sneakers - Can I get away with them?

Previous idea of FitFlop loafers heavily vetoed so back again to ask if these would be OK for commuting to and from work without making me look as though I am off for a bingo sesh. I am early forties and would change into pretty shoes once at work but want something for travelling in that is v comfortable (chivalry is dead and ladies have to stand for what feels like hours on the tube these days) and is closed in for bad weather. Have looked at the ones with black soles but they just look too orthopaedic but will the white soles look odd with black opaques and a dress en route? I don't want to wear trainers as a) too clumpy and b) they get wet so easily.

Opinions please...

Are you ill, or disabled in some way? If not, then why should you not be able to stand on the tube?

I have a pair very similar, because I started to suffer from plantar fasciitis. They're not the most beautiful of shoes, but they are very, very comfortable. I'd go with it and ignore what some randoms on the internet think.

And stop assuming that you have a right to a seat because you're a 'lady' Hmm

I definitely think these are fine. But are you disabled? Why do you need a seat more than any man? It has nothing to do with 'chivalry'.

Chivalry remark was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek
