Please.

My hands get freezing but the only warm gloves I can find are the ski-type ones which are mainly very ugly!

Anyone seen any nice warm ones please?

M&S do cashmere lined leather gloves in loads of colours. They look warm and I think they're stylish - more so than ski gloves, definitely!

I came to say cashmere lined leather gloves, they are the most toasty warm pair I have ever owned. Lasted me 5 years so far. The only downfall is not being able to use a touchscreen without taking them off but I can live with using the phone a bit less in the winter.

Ooh, they look lovely. I'll check in store.

Next question, anyone think there'll be another 20% off before Chrissie??

Thank you

I got a 20% email yesterday. I have a sparks card though.

Definitely leather with lining. Game changer when my sil gave me some!

John Lewis have some leather ones (possibly faux leather)

EvaReady · 24/11/2018 12:20

Leather with cashmere are completely useless for someone who suffers from cold hands. Mittens are warmest. Layering helps - buy a merino liner glove. I have bought a pair of leather ski gloves - a bit bulkier than normal but that is what is needed if you have really cold hands. Something like these ones combined with a touch screen merino liner. Or you could try sheep skin.

Those do look good Eva thanks but a bit out of my price range.

Why wouldn't leather/cashmere be warm please?

EvaReady · 24/11/2018 13:32

Depends how badly you suffer from cold hands, they are spring/summer gloves for me - but for others they clearly work perfectly fine.

wineoclockthanks · 24/11/2018 14:30

Ok, thanks.

I definitely recommend getting leather gloves too, look so much more classy! They mould to your hands and look better with age

ShebaQueen · 24/11/2018 17:30

I have several pairs of these, loads of colours available www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-partners-leather-fleece-lined-gloves/red/p3691044

I picked up some leather lined gloves in Aldi in a burgundy colour (they had black too but I fancied a change) for £7

Mumsnet also made me buy recommended Turtle Dove cashmere wrist warmers/fingerless gloves and they been great for when gloves aren't quite necessary

ChishandFips33 · 24/11/2018 19:10

TKmaxx often have a good selection of lined leather gloves
