Any Charoltte Tilbury recommendations?

Are the Charlotte Tilbury products any good?

I've been seduced by their marketing I think - but going to be near a store tomorrow and wondering if any of their products are actually as good as the marketing and worth a buy?

Avoid avoid avoid buying the night cream. It's the worst one I've ever tried. I got a CT advent calendar a couple of years ago, and was very underwhelmed by everything tbh.

I love the cream eye shadows 'Eyes to Mesmerise', I wear Jean and it's a lovely soft, long lasting colour. And on a daily basis I wear Colour Chameleon in Dark Pearl as eyeliner. Beautiful colour and again it lasts all day.

There are some products from Charlotte Tilbury that I quite enjoy, but others not so much.

I like some of the lipsticks, while some of her lipsticks are downright terrible.

I've really enjoyed the Pillow Talk lipstick because of the colour, but I don't think the quality is superior to any other brand. There are a few other colours that are nice too (but I don't remember the names).

The lip pencils are nice, but I don't like how they feel if filling in the whole lip (even if adding a lipstick/balm on top). I don't think they are any better than Mac, Rimmel or any other brand I've tried.

I am far from impressed with Kim KW and some of the other colours I have. They are patchy, apply weirdly on my lips (skip areas and make bits look really dry even though they aren't) and wear off really quickly.

My mum loves the magic cream, but not enough to buy it. I give her samples if I get any as I don't really think it's anything special.

I've used some of the (older) skincare/primer type products as samples, and they've not wowed me in any way.

The pressed powder is supposed to be amazing, and I would love to try it, but I don't really want to spend the money on it.

I've heard that the loose powder is nowhere close to being as nice, and that it smells.

I have just ordered the face palette in the black Friday sale, so I'm hoping it will be nice. I've been wanting to try some of the eye shadows and the blushers.

I don't think you can expect a makeup/skincare brand to have only fantastic products that will suit everyone. But I think Charlotte Tilbury is far more hyped than it deserves.

I'm not a fan, sorry. Nadine Baggott said they're made in the same factory as rimmel. Maybe just similar to rimmel in fancy packaging?

I wouldn't be surprised. It's that bad.
