Hi everyone, so I need a bit of help. I work in a very casual retail job where all the women wear skinny jeans, and I've done the same for the past however many years so am in a massive rut with my clothes and have no idea where to start with regards to straying away from the jeans.

I've got recurrent cystitis and pain down there on and off all the time, and have been reading up on how I can stop the pain so am trying them but avoiding tight fitting clothes seems to be the most regular advice. What do you wear thats not tight fitting? I dont have a clue where to start! Im 22 if that helps

A skirt. I have a black denim skirt (western style) that I really like for a casual look.

Tailored jogging bottoms and harem pants.

I mostly wear dresses and the odd skirt. Chunky knits and tights and boots with them at this time of the year.

Go to the shops, pick up things you would never really go for normally, try them on and get an idea of what you like. Take a friend get her to do the same and enjoy yourselves.

I’m in the same boat but a bit more extreme as I can’t wear trousers at all which is hard! I wear a-line short or knee skirts and tights with hole cut in the crotch for air Blush Go for cotton based tights. Another option is cotton rich leggings. They’re tight but they’re thin, so you might tolerate them. Midi dresses with boots are in at the mo, which is the most cystitis sufferer friendly fashion trend I’ve seen in a while! Another look I like is a jumper or tshirt tucked into a 50s style midi skirt. I also wear a lot of jersey fit and flare dresses.
You have my sympathies, it’s really hard. I really miss the days when I could just chuck on a pair of jeans but i can’t go near them without instant cystitis.

You probably know this already but make sure you wear cotton knickers too. M&S do 100% cotton and they’re cheap.
