Comfy knickers for a peri menopausal woman who needs period pants that I can sleep in without ithe elastic digging into my legs

I’m usually a size 12 but could do with a 14 when I have periods every 21 days.
I feel so uncomfortable at night wearing knickers.
I don’t like non VPL ones because I spend all night pulling them from my bum crack ☺️
I bought some amazing ones in America this year from Jockey but they are not sold here and cost a bomb from Amazon.

Any recommendations please.

I'd try some handmade ones - Crafty Mrs B, Muff Dusters or maybe Creasey Free Clothes? They make ones with no elastic, just soft jersey waist and leg bands, so nothing to dig in Smile

I got some midi knickers from m and s recently which I love very much. Soft, light and no diggy bits. I'll see if I can find the very ones but it's difficult to tell online.

I'm interested in Jockey after look g at the website. Are you sure that they don't have your ones?

I'd go for the longer short type. I have these and they are probably the most comfortable non-ride-up-anywhere pair I own, and don't feel like control pants (but obvs you could just buy similar non control style anyway).

Or just buy men's stretch boxers?

Sorry totally hopeless trying to distinguish one pair of black knicks from the next on the m and s website.

hugoagogo · 13/11/2018 07:37

m&s midi pants

wewillrememberthem · 13/11/2018 07:38

Men's boxer shorts? I often wonder why they don't do them for women.

Beaverhausen · 13/11/2018 07:39

I usually get a pair of oversized granny knickers from M&S or you can get seamless ones which are quite elasticated from Primark they are really comfy.

RandomMess · 13/11/2018 07:57

GAP to a range of styles called "breathe" so comfy and don't disappear between your cheeks! Do boxer style anyway - so comfy I can't tell I'm wearing them.

ihatethecold · 13/11/2018 08:34

Thanks. I’m going to check all of these out. M and S always fill me with hope but they are not quite right.
I have a drawer full that I don’t wear.
I’ve realised as I’ve entered the lovely peri menopausal stage of my life that I hate anything uncomfortable.
I now longer wear bras just crop tops etc.

I have recently replaced all my pants with sloggi.

They are super comfy. Get the in John Lewis or Amazon.

ihatethecold · 13/11/2018 09:21

I have looked at sloggi before but when searching in Debenhams they wouldn't ever have my size in Black..

need to re look

Google tells me it's cellulose made from trees 🤷🏽‍♀️😂
I'm fussy and find knickers often roll down or ride up but I don't notice I'm wearing these

ihatethecold · 14/11/2018 18:22

@Ollivander84

Thanks for the Matalan recommendation.
I have bought the kecks you suggested plus some others that look very similar to the Jockey ones I love. so thank you.
£12 for 6 pairs.

They are very comfortable and just what I was after

Oh fab! I bought them on a whim and went back to get more Grin

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 14/11/2018 19:17

I wear truly enormous ones from m&s, I believe they're called a full brief! Poor DH didn't know what had hit him! They're cotton though, not modal, I like a nice breathable pant.
