It shouldn't be this difficult! But it is!! Can anyone help? Any recommendations or suggestions so welcome. It's getting cold and I have no coat 😞

Wants! -

  • nipped in / adjustable waist as I find this style most flattering
  • hood not essential
  • warm enough to see me through to April
  • decent enough quality (I.e doesn't look naf/cheap)
  • not made for giant people (I have quite short arms)
  • bum covering
  • any colour

HELP!!

I have a couple of coats from Jack Murphy and they tick all your boxes. I wear them from October to April and they have adjustable waists. Some have hoods. I have the Pam wax jacket (no hood) and a Danielle dog walking jacket (hood). Both are fully waterproof and the Pam is almost 10 years old and going strong!

I have a didriksons meja for cold weather and a saltwater compass for rainy weather

Jack Murphy do look really good and I hadn't heard of that brand - thanks!

I have this one in black, comes in lots of colours and fits your brief! Only £50 too. Look from picture 4 though for a more accurate representation of what it actually looks like

That looks lovely! Really nice, gorgeous colour options. Can I ask your height? I'm petite so not sure it would work.

Jack wolfskin iceguard.

I'm 5'6, OP. Check out other Esprit options as well, they have quite a selection.

I'll have a look thank you.

Any more suggestions for warm coats that AREN'T puffas? Had a discussion with DH last night and he doesn't think they suit me 😂
