Can I wear this to a wedding? (Another one, sorry!)

Hello all. I’ve seen a lot of threads like this, and I didn’t think I’d be posting one - but I’ve over thought this outfit and lost confidence in it.

I’m going to a wedding at the end of the month and I’d like to wear something I already own. This dress is a candidate - it’s lovely and easy to wear, doesn’t highlight my wonky end of breastfeeding boobs and I’ve got a dark red cardigan and shoes that would be fine with it.... but it’s a pale linen colour with a red pattern. Is the background too close to white? Is it still frowned upon to wear red to a wedding? Is it too summery to wear in November with tights?

I like it - not too close to white for a wedding.
Not sure about tights with it though - what colour were you thinking?

It's lovely, you should definetly wear it. In terms of tights I would perhaps go natural dark tights might look a bit strange.

What about light denier burgundy tights?

Its lovely and I can't see any reason why it would be inappropriate for a wedding at any time of year

Agree will look best with nude tights

I think it's fine for a wedding but I think it would look odd with anything other than nude tights.

Thank you all, you've saved me from my own over thinking!

Thanks for the tights advice too - I don't love nude tights but I think you're right. I'll have a hunt for a decent pair.
