DIY XMAS Jumper - where's the cheapest place to buy a plain women's jumper?

Don't ask, but I've got myself embroiled in a DIY jumper competition.
I need to find a cheap ladies jumper that's not super baggy as I need to sew stuff on it (!) but all the ones I'm coming across are £12+ !
Bit more than I wanted to spend for a throwaway. Anyone got a hot tip on where I can get hold of one at more Primark prices ie £6?? [Tried Primark, they're all baggy and chenille]

What a waste. Try a charity shop.

Primark or a charity shop.

Asda have cheap thin jumpers i think. alternatively do you not have an old jumper you dont mind altering??

mmmgoats · 13/11/2018 09:29

@brieandchilli annoyingly I just donated a load of my old jumpers.

I've had another browse and to be honest @sitranced is right, it's such a waste. I'm going to get a medium quality one and actually do my best to DIY a nice one that I will actually wear for a few years!
