Make up in v hot / humid / smoggy country

I am moving to South Asia in a few months, to be based primarily in a city with a v bad smog problem and temperatures reaching well over 40 degrees in Summer. I’ll be mostly based in an office but will also be doing some travelling for work around the country and nearby countries, so as well as looking good in the office, I need to crack arriving for meetings in a hot place looking smart and put together.

I have very fair skin and don’t tend to wear much make up at all - like, at work, generally no skin make up, or maybe just some pressed powder (Benefit flawless compact generally). But conscious I need to up my SPF game, and get a foundation or base layer right that will stop me looking red, shiny and generally hot, bothered and British! But without being too heavy or clogging pores.

Any recommendations?

In particular, any reviews for bareMinerals - especially Complexion Rescue?

I'm in Asia in a hot humid sweaty country and I use Origins a perfect world spf 40, then I use a maybeline primer, CC cream, Revlon colorstay cream eyeshadows, normal mascara and Benefit erase paste under eyes. I finish of with Laura mercier shimmer block, followed by Revlon lip balm stain or HD lipstick. My aim is so glow and look glossy instead of trying to battle the heat!
