what colouring are you? and what height?

JackieNo · 18/06/2007 20:23

Happy to show arms, or not?

JackieNo · 18/06/2007 20:28

There's this , or this ?

JackieNo · 18/06/2007 20:34

This is probably less floaty than you want, but still nice. Possibly this , though I'm not entirely convinced.

JackieNo · 18/06/2007 20:34

(also that last one looks dark red, but I've just noticed it's described as 'black', so probably not).

JackieNo · 18/06/2007 20:37

I like this though it may be a bit longer than you want? Or how about this ?

Cloudhopper · 18/06/2007 20:38

Monsoon have some lovely dresses which suit curvier figures. I wore one last year when I was a size 18-20 and loved it. It was $75, which was a bit pricey I suppose. If you can't find anything cheaper then it is an idea I suppose.

JackieNo · 18/06/2007 20:39

This is pretty, but might be a difficult colour to wear.

bananabump · 18/06/2007 20:43

this comes in black/print or white, not floaty but still gorgeous

This dress looks seriously flattering, black or purple

Beautiful sleeveless floaty dress here, bit more expensive at £75

Cloudhopper · 18/06/2007 20:45

This could look really nice this

What I like about monsoon is the size range.

Cloudhopper · 18/06/2007 20:47

Full length can be flattering:

brandnewhelsy · 18/06/2007 21:53

this one?

MamaG · 18/06/2007 21:54

I've never looked on littlewoods before and really like a lot of those dresses

brandnewhelsy · 18/06/2007 21:59

anything here? I like the black dress half way down.

JackieNo · 18/06/2007 22:05

Sorry - was watching the thing about the coma girl waking up.

I think both those first 2 dresses I linked to are about the same amount of dressiness (if there is such a word). Not convinced about wearing black, it's not completely out of the question, but I'd definitely be inclined to go for a colour instead.

(Thanks, MamaG)

snowwonder · 18/06/2007 22:08

ok thanks black is just so slimming, and i like the pink but i wouldnt want to stand out from the croud

Get some colourful shoes, or maybe gold or silver ones - lots of them around atm. Maybe a coloured pashmina/shrug? Just so it's not head-to-toe black. Bet you'll look fab.

snowwonder · 18/06/2007 22:30

thanks fab idea,

really appreciate your time
