please help me find a big girls dress for a wedding........

going to 2 wedding receptions.. need a dress size 18/20
just below knee length, floaty would be nice and not to expensive,

any ideas???

This is probably less floaty than you want, but still nice. Possibly this , though I'm not entirely convinced.

(also that last one looks dark red, but I've just noticed it's described as 'black', so probably not).

Monsoon have some lovely dresses which suit curvier figures. I wore one last year when I was a size 18-20 and loved it. It was $75, which was a bit pricey I suppose. If you can't find anything cheaper then it is an idea I suppose.

This is pretty, but might be a difficult colour to wear.

i am 5ft 6ins, but would wear heals,

hair light brown highlighted hair, olive kind of colouring,

I think both those first 2 dresses I linked to are about the same amount of dressiness (if there is such a word). Not convinced about wearing black, it's not completely out of the question, but I'd definitely be inclined to go for a colour instead.

ok thanks black is just so slimming, and i like the pink but i wouldnt want to stand out from the croud

Get some colourful shoes, or maybe gold or silver ones - lots of them around atm. Maybe a coloured pashmina/shrug? Just so it's not head-to-toe black. Bet you'll look fab.
