Bra Fitting

Recently went to large store famous for its bra fitting service (where they now don't measure you) and was told that my tiny boobs could wang about in a bra cup that seemed way too big as long as there was good support underneath and at the sides!

I personally would have liked my small (from over 3 yrs BF) tissue paper-like breasts to be supported all around by the cup itself but she said it didn't matter.

This doesn't seem right does it or do I not have a choice? She said I was a 36B and that an A cup wouldn't have anough support around the sides. Can anyone suggest a style that is great for tiny cups?

Thanks

i think i went to the same store recently-i am a 34 AA cup!!!! and managed to find a balconette style in an A cup which actually gives me a chest-friends think i have had a boob job-

oh that's so bad - the fitter told me that because I had such small boobs, balconette bras would look ridiculous on me! Right- don't feel bad about taking them back, even though I've worn them now.

I did just call customer services at the company and they said I should take them back and be re-fitted. Bit worried I'll get same person though. Wish Rigby and Peller had nationwide stores!

even before BF, I was only a 34 c and all balconette styles suited me and gave me a nice rounded bust shape.

It is important to be supported properly around the sides so I'd definitely make sure the cup size was right. You can tell by looking and feel whether a bra fits or not. Different brands come up different sizes too so it's important to try a few on and see what you prefer.
