Annual hunt for a roll neck knitted midi dress

It’s been YEARS that I’ve been looking for one. I’ve never found the perfect one; although some have come close, theres always something wrong with them.

It must be:

Black
Soft knit
Roll necked
Midi length (below the knee)
Not ribbed
Straight fit, not flared at all
Long sleeved

Any ideas?

Ohhhhh yes - GAP outlet. Had a bunch of similar sounding dresses today - can't swear they had black but they had a few neutral colours as I toyed with the navy one. 50% off atm (as every weekend )

I have SEVEN of them on my Amazon Prime Wardrobe (the thing that lets you try eight items without paying for seven days)

I'll let you know if any of them fit the bill

I want it to be figure hugging and the ideal would be an angora one. Maybe I should just learn to knit

Looking at the figure hugging ones a bit closer they all appear to be ribbed. There's a nice cashmere one that's half price but it is ribbed.

Uniqlo are always nearly there, but not quite- this year their offerings are too short, too baggy and not black.

This is probably not super helpful because there is only one dress left in each size, and I am unsure if farfetched is a genuine site or not (it has some terrible reviews online)

Not midi, but I think 90cm is around knee length on me and i'm 5'7", the winter Celtic and Co catalogue through today and they have this. @AsleepAllDay maybe right length for you if not OP?

Celtic and Co have THE best knitwear, their lambswool never bobbles and is GB or Euro made. They usually do a discount code around now albeit a small one 10-15% but it will be worth the full price.
