Special sexy underwear for wedding night

A - do people still do this?

I will be wearing hold me in underwear and no bra during the day so the only time I would wear something sexy would be after I am out of the dress

B - if you did do it when you got married how appreciated was it by your new husbands on the night?

I've had a baby not too long ago and been in maternity bras and c section pants a large proportion of the last year and only just starting to wear underwire and short knickers again.

I love the Luke of the bluebella stuff but wondering if it will be terribly unflattering on a c section tum

My husband was so drunk he said “you’re my wife, this is so cool” a few times then fell asleep.

Can’t remember what undies I wore. People buy you a lot of drinks when you’ve just got married & he was green the next morning.

God no! My husband fell over on the way to the bed and l slept in my dress as he couldn't work out the fastenings!!

I was knackered, we were both slightly pissed and taking off the dress was like a bloody engineering project it was so complicated and heavy. Special underwear would have been a complete waste of money.

Going to be honest. Took my dress off, make up off and went to sleep. It was a long day and I wanted to sleep. Save the nice underwear for another day.

Save it for the honeymoon 

We didn't get to bed until about 5am and were both shagged. Or not as the case may be .....

Seriously, save it for the honeymoon. IF you even do it on the day, it will be an obligatory consummation fuck rather than the passion filled wedding night you’re clearly thinking of!

I had nice cream coloured undies to go with the dress. But by the time DH saw them it was 2am and we were both exhausted and drunk. I’m not saying wear your rotten old skids but you don’t have to pick something expensive or uncomfortable.

We were knackered by bedtime. I could have worn anything.

My holding me in underwear was a very effective and glamorous affair from Rigby and Peller. Hubby couldn't work out how to get me out of it. Both very tired, fell sleep.

I didn't do undies but I had a gorgeous cream silk nighty thing. Think long, glam and tasteful.
We had a great day and went to bed at 11 and it felt very special.
My hubby doesn't drink and I didn't want to blur the day so we had thr energy to use😂

Plain white undies for me! My dress wasn't fidddly but I had about 150-200 bobby pins in my hair and needed DH to help me get them out! Neither of us were drunk but it took ages. Every time we thought they were all out he found another load (I have a lot of hair...). We had a quick cuddle and fell asleep.

I did but it wasn't to be sexy. I had a beautiful couture dress and I wanted beautiful things under it. I got a delicate La Perla set which I have never worn again which is probably the most costly thing per thread I have ever purchased. Very ornate and stunning, but completely impractical for day to day wear.

We didn't have sex on our wedding night. Had the wonder bra and lace knickers from wonder bra on, which were lovely. I don't think many people dtd on their wedding night. Unless they stay sober and are home by 10 I guess! - - maybe me and dh are just lazy--

I bought a white matching bra and knickers set and then realised that the bra wouldn't go under the dress so went braless and just wore the knickers. We're quite pissed so I don't think DH even noticed!

Had M and S pretty, effective but sexy underwear. Yes we did, on our wedding night, it was the first time we had.
