Non Tacky Cake Smash Outfit

I have booked a cake smash for my DD's 1st birthday but am really struggling to find a nice outfit for her. Can anyone suggest where to look online?

I'm in two minds about what to dress her in. There is part of me that really wants to just go for it and put her in an adorable tutu. The problem is DH is really opposed to making her look too girly and pink, plus all the tutu outfits I've been able to find online are just a bit cheap and tacky looking.

The other part of me wants to put her in something different but I'm not sure what. She only has short hair so I do want her to look a bit feminine.

Colour wise I was thinking either pink turquoise or pastel colors. But nothing too busy because I want to make the most of the cake mess.

Any suggestions?

I’ve just googled cake smash. What an incredible waste. What a sad message to be giving children.
Put her in a pair of thick leggings and a nice warm jumper and let her play normally. Just eat the cake.

In the same way that a bikini body is a body that has a bikini on it, an outfit worn to a cake smash will be tacky. It's self-defining.
