I like the boys red Boden reindeer one but it’s a bit too expensive even with a code at 40-32 pounds

Buy a plain (or say fairisle pattern) jumper, a small Xmas cuddly toy and a some popper snap fastenings. Sew poppers to jumper and toy, attach toy to jumper. Take off toy when wash jumper. After Xmas, take off toy. Next Xmas, new toy.

Did this for Xmas jumper day. Toy got a lot of attention, far more than standard Xmas jumpers did.
