Hoping for a few suggestions here as have a wedding on Friday week, am going to be 34 weeks pregnant and had bought myself a rather expensive black wrap dress that I was going to wear with red shoes, jewellery and black and red hat. Unfortunately I think it gapes too much where it crosses over and shows far too much chunky, heavily pregnant leg so I thought of getting a slip/petticoat to go underneath. However seeing as we're nowhere near St Valentine's day or Christmas I can't seem to find one....

TIA !!

You don't mean something like this do you? I think you want a waist one, not this style (and something longer?), or am I wrong?

tokentotty · 17/06/2007 12:45

Well it would definitely need to be longer, you're right there as the shorter ones aren't going to hide my thighs ! Am happy for it to be an all in one as well as think a flash of red at the top would be nice. Just can't seem to see what I would like anywhere and haven't a clue where to look

Ooooh like this . £63 is a blardy lot though isn't it ?

It is rather. But lovely, though.

BHS usually have an array of coloured satiny slips in their window. Prob cheap as chips too

nomdeplume · 17/06/2007 13:30

OMG ! This is what Google gave me!

JackieNo · 17/06/2007 13:31

I'm not even going to click on the menu item called 'kinky things'.

nomdeplume · 17/06/2007 13:33

Red, plain and ankle length (from the looks of the photo)

nomdeplume · 17/06/2007 13:34

I've just realised that the first one didn't link to the page I was OMG'ing at. If you click on the Womens Slip link and scroll down to the model

nomdeplume · 17/06/2007 13:34

Oh and also spotted that normal one I linked to is only available in sizes 22+

nomdeplume · 17/06/2007 13:35

This is the red slip in smaller sizes

nomdeplume · 17/06/2007 13:36

they do it in shorter length too (mid thigh I think - £5.99)

Well, if they're not going to cover my hairy chest then I'm not sure they're going to be appropriate for a church wedding to be honest.....your thoughts ??

ahem, sorry, got distracted there !!
Thanks for the BHS and online suggestions. I'll try and head to BHS tomorrow and have a look. Bit of a problem ordering online potentially though due to not having the faintest clue what size I'd need to fit my enomous baby belly in !

Unfortunately BHS proved a definite no-no and am really struggling to think of anywhere else. Any new suggestions out there...??
