describe to me in detail how you do your eye make-up

1. grey eyeliner lower rim and top rim middle to edge of eye

2. dark eyeshadow (blue/green/brown) over lower lid blended up to socket

3. mid shade eye shadow to brow

4. highlighter eye shadow from under mid borw - middle to edge of brow

5. eyebrow pencil - blend

6. mascara

7. touche eclait under eye if dark

this is everyday but do more or less the same for night out - just heavier on the darker colour and a bit of sparkle.

Blue and green eyeshadow sounds naff but works well on me. Anything too browny / pinky and I look like I have been punched (I am pale skin - dark hair.)

I'm crap at eye make-up, and have small deep set lids and dark eyes, so very often look like I've been punched!

Is there anywhere that does lessons, or any dvds or kits or something?

go to a Benefit counter, ask them to do you and take notes
good line is always 'I want to look less tired'

I forgot the mention the squinting into the mirror, the muttering of "crap" when I splodge mascara on my upper lids and the complete horror when I put my glasses back on!

If I wear eyeliner, my eyes are so deep set that all you can see on my lids is the eye liner. Maybe I should try liquid?

why wear eyeliner at all then?

I do mine differently all the time but tend to use black liquid liner, eyelash curlers, mascara.

Most of the time I just wear mascara if I am off out I may add a bit of eyeliner. On a posh night out I will use eyeshadow, but I am not very confident and not sure what really suits eye makeup wise which is why I tend to keep it simple.

I don't wear it very often, I guess I just try it for the same reason anyone else wears it, just can never get it right?
