Anybody tried it? Any success for spots and how did you use it? Do you use any other products with it?

Please try it! My skin’s not perfect but it’s definitely at least 90% better than it was. It’s helped both the redness and the spots. I originally used the 3 step box which cleared my skin quickly but did find the toner a little harsh so now I just use the effaclar which I put on my face before bed. I must have used it for at least two years and my skin’s been calmer for all that time than ever before. I always stock up when it’s 3 for 2 in Boots and it lasts ages.

Mine came today and included an additional free sample of the moisturiser too 👍🏼

I rate effaclar duo. I only use a couple of tubes a year as I find my skin gets used to it or it does it's thing and I don't notice it doing much if I use it constantly.

I'd also recommend a glycolic night mask from Superdrug, it's about £6 but usually BOGOF or half price. I suffered with hormonal acne really badly on my jawline and chin for a few months and it's really helping the scars to fade faster.

Life changer for me too. Found it at the age of 38 having had acne most of my life. Spot free now apart from a couple spots around periods. As soon as i use anything else i break out and my skin feels very sensitive so i stopped experimenting and instead enjoy spot free life even if it means i don't get to buy anything else for my skin. I would recommend giving it a go but also give it a chance to work without putting anything else on your face.

Just wanted to update - I used it for two weeks and gave up. I got loads and loads of little spots all down my cheeks and onto my neck. They were itchy. Don’t know if it was an allergic reaction or what but they’ve pretty much cleared up now I’ve stopped using it. Another thing that doesn’t work :-(
Next step roaccutane!
