i'm five foot, have to wear a bra, still have post baby tummy but have decent enough legs and suit brighter colours - nothing beige or brown. Any suggestions?

Sorry too early for me to think straight re fashion but just wanted to say it sounds a lovely wedding adn i hate weddings

i know. its the first wedding that i'm actually looking forward to and want to have some fun finding a dress, instead of fretting about it.

How about one of these? I always love monsoon. think youve jsut got to ignore midges and drown yourself in repellent!
one of these?

Not sure what size you are, as these tend to have quite a small range of sizes, but Tansen have some beautiful looking stuff.

Waynetta. Definitely more caffeine needed.

lol, I am a bit of a midget. Monsoon dresses always come out a bit flappy on me. I think I'm too short for their styles.

The Tanzen stuff is lovely but I'm a 12-14. Will they fit? And can I wear
this one to a wedding or is it a faux pas to wear white? .

butterfly and flower dress is lovely
plain white is a no for weddings but that dress would be fine!

JackieNo · 17/06/2007 10:12

I think you should be fine - if you were a 14-16 I wouldn't be sure. Mind you, I've never actually seen the stuff in rl - just drooled over the website. I think you'd probably just about get away with that one, as there are so many other colours - you could have an orange wrap, and shoes (isn't there a thread about orange shoes somewhere? Haven't actually read it to know whether they're approved of or not).

You are having midges at your wedding - you lucky thing

oranges · 17/06/2007 10:14

Jackino - it is an amazing website. Exactly the style of stuff I like. I really hope their stuff fits.

not MY wedding! But yes, apparently its all very hot and humid, so cotton dresses would be good.
