Have worn my last pair to death. These had a wedge sole so more comfy than the v flat ones. I bought them abroad so not sure where to look for new ones, any ideas?

(Dont like Havaianas just dont find them a good fit on my feet.)

Have you tried Crocs flip flops? The have a wedge sole, adn are extreamly comfy. Don't knock them till you've tried them.

BirdyArms · 17/06/2007 07:07

Flip-flop syle birkenstocks are the only ones I've ever got on with - the shaped sole means there's not much pressure on the in-between toe bit. But would like to wear some prettier flip-flops if anyone knows of any comfy ones.

Furball · 17/06/2007 07:18

I'll second crocs flip flops. Most comfortable flip flops ever

LilyLoo · 17/06/2007 07:23

BonyM · 17/06/2007 07:46

Aspiga do gorgeous leather flip flops and have some with a wedge heel.

mumtogusnalbie · 17/06/2007 07:54

Hi, Matalan have some really pretty flip flops at the moment and i found a really comfy pair with a bit of a heel. It might be worth a try!
Good Luck

usandnosleep · 17/06/2007 08:00

Reefs. Like walking on air

charliecat · 17/06/2007 09:13

reef tigris

charliecat · 17/06/2007 09:24

Oh and somehow the reef tigris manage to sound like high heels so you sound sexy and your feet are having an orgasm coz they are soooooooooooooooo comfy.

Pannacotta · 17/06/2007 11:02

The reef ones look v comfy - can you get them on the high st?
Love the Aspiga ones too but are they comfortable? I cant usually wear hard leather flip flops as they kill my feet, do these have padded in soles?

a skater shop called south does them in my town not sure if its local shop or chain

DeviousDaffodil · 17/06/2007 11:08

The reef ones are great and mine have a bottle opener built into the sole!
Got mine from a surf shop. Most surf/ skate shops do them as do a few independant clothes retailers!

Pannacotta · 17/06/2007 11:09

Thanks will check out the surf shops, we have a few here.
Dont usually look in them as they make me feel old and unfit!

I second Matalan. Lovely comfy but pretty Birkenstock style ones.
Have a new pair on today-gold sequins. £12. Very nice with jeans, tanned feet and bright crimson toenails.

charliecat · 17/06/2007 11:17

Oh yes, just grab the reefs and run

Pannacotta · 17/06/2007 11:18

We dont have a Matalan
Will hit the surf shops though, thanks for suggestions...

They are about 30 quid BTW, but well well worth it. I am a totally tightfisted bugger, and I wouldnt spend 30 quid on anything. But these are worth it.
I wouldnt spent 30 quid on ...oh anything at all...but these.
Picked up my first pair for 2.50 second hand...gutted when I saw how much they were lol

Pannacotta · 17/06/2007 11:23

Thanks ccat, dont mind spending that for the sake of comfy feet.
I really struggle in the summer as my feet swell a lot, so £30 will be worth it for me...
