What to wear with this skirt (top to toe)

Need some fashion advice, I'm rubbish at choosing clothes and tend to stick to really safe options. But I saw this skirt and got really excited to be out of maternity clothes and bought it on impulse- but I have no idea what to wear it with, colours or anything. Please help! :)

I'd wear it with a teal long sleeved t-shirt, black tights and black pointy toed ankle boots. Or you could try an orange long sleeved t-shirt, depending on your colouring. It's a lovely skirt though! The little animals are so cute.
