when do the UK sales start ?

Seen some things I like but they will probably be put in the sale but can't recall when they start. Was in UK late July last yr and they were well under way.

Martins money tips had the date for the Clarks sale. Can't remember when it was tho'.

Usually last week June/first two weeks of July but it can move depending on the weather, As it hasn't been warm this year yet there will be overstocks of high summer stuff they'll want rid of sooner ratehr than risk later so the dates may come forward , for some stores at least.

Thanks will hang on then and risk it ..Then battle for the bargains when they start.

Seems they are starting earlier this year (probably due to weather ) ie Debenhams is 21st June.

I think MSE said Clarks started today. Debenahms has card holder preview evening tonight.

It is normally early July, but I think a few places have already started their sales.

Wallis had sale stuff today in the shop as did Clarks. Other shoe shops too.

ooh hello - it seemed to make little difference tbh. The material didn't feel breathable so I felt it was stuffy and held the heat in. This was high summer in Europe so it may be better in a UK summer with more breeze.

i have seen a uv gazebo, maybe that would be better.

LK Bennett sale is now on. Went out for a sandwich at lunch and came back with a pair of shoes and a bag - and no sandwich!

I have been doing shopping for wedding clothes so happen to know that Harvey Nichols and Liberty start next week, tuesday and thursday I think - er yes I know they are poncey shops - but prob others have similair start dates?

Karen Millen already had some bits in the sale a few weeks back, but they don't yet have any massive reductions.

Quite alot of the on-line sales have started...Oasis.

Had a look at the Oasis sale, and I'm now £35 poorer!!

I had £90 worth of stuff delivered yesterday (real bargins - a dress from £70 to £18), although I think I'll have to send some back. Good sale though.

Really good sale! I might have to have another browse later!

Which dress did you get?

I ordered the gold one and the silver one, not really sure about them but they were such a barging (sucker!). One will go back though.
