Girls' warm, properly waterproof winter coat ?

Looking for recommendations, title says it all! Budget ideally less than £40. Too many are just water-resistant repellent. Also needs to be warm enough to go below freezing ( Scotland!), so breathable would be lovely too, but less likely at that price. Oh, and not pink! Only contender so far is a yellow Sainsbury's ' boy's' coat, but hoping to get a more fitted style for 11 year old, although the colour is fine. Thanks! Already spent at least an hour looking, hoping someone already had the perfect one!

Justpaint they wash really well and stay waterproof.

My DD2 had a pink one for the last 2 years, and it looked as good at the end as it did when we bought it. Which is why we just bought a bigger size to replace it.

Definitely lands end. Ours always have one, plus a lighter weight shell jacket from mountain warehouse and they see them through most conditions.

The have squall coats from LE...I think they will do their third winter before they get grown out of, have bits you can let down on sleeves too.

Boden ski jackets are fully waterproof and very warm. I buy them for the dc in a size up and they wear them for 2 winters. We’ve had 4 now and they’ve all been good. I like that they are brightly coloured and easy to see in the dark.

I am obsessed with finding long waterproof kids coats, it's not easy! I've just bought a trespass Fame coat in the sale for £20 ish. Very pleased with how it looks, sold as waterproof.
