Are expensive moisturisers worth it?

As the title says really...

I'm looking for a new moisturiser and unsure whether to get a cheap/drug store one, or a more expensive one. Which one do you swear by?

I've recently changed to the Ordinary products & have really noticed a difference (and I was using Thalgo/expensive brands before)

Aldi Laura Cariar, Day and Night.

It depends. Mine looks the same with Superdrug Vitamin E as it does with a £20 tub but I don't have spots or problem skin and do use SPF.

I find that Clarins makes a big difference to my skin. Over the years I’ve tried lots both cheap and expensive. I found that Body Shop Vitamin E is good, but I’be gone back to Clarins.

I slather on Nivea every night and let it soak in, been doing so since I over heard girls in a change room talking about this and about ten years later do feel like my skin isn't as wrinkly as some others my age but everyone's made up differently.

A wise (stunning) lady did say it doesn't make a difference how much it costs if you don't use it properly - drink water etc

CeraVe is a good brand and good price too
