Mens aftershave on women

If you wear men's aftershave, as a woman, what fragrance / brand do you wear. I'm not a floral perfume person and would like a very subtle men's fragrance as I like more
Masculine smells...

Thanks all and Haffiana for that insight..really interesting..you are right..I should go for what I like...no what I am told I should like.

JHL by Aramis hard to find

Russian Leather, Molton Brown

I too prefer more 'masculine' fragrances

My wife wears the issey miyake pour homme, it's gorgeous. Or the Dior Sauvage for special occasions. Both smell so good.

CutesyUserName · 22/10/2018 16:53

Acqua de Gio, Armani. Lovely and fresh, citrus scent. Always get loads of compliments when I wear it.

LegArmpits · 22/10/2018 16:54

Farenheit.
So very similar to my old favourite Sheer Scent Ultima ll.

AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy · 22/10/2018 18:08

I use Chanel Allure Sport Cologne. Nice.

Love DH’s Dior Sauvage (the newish Johnny Depp one) but a bit strong on me.

ShivD · 22/10/2018 21:00

I have Tom Ford Grey Vetiver. I also love most of the Ermenegildo Zegna scents too which I think are marketed as ‘mens’.

bitofabelly · 24/10/2018 11:04

Lanaorlaba2 which le labo scent do you love?

2nd Le Labo and the Essential Molecule one (not sure of the name!)

Also Valentino Uomo.

bitofabelly · 24/10/2018 13:57

Got a wonderful scent from my DH for my recent birthday. Loved it immediately. Looked it up and realised that it was actually for men (which DH hadn't realised!). It's Hermès' Terre D'Hermès. Love wearing it and find it complex and gorgeous - it smells of vetiver but has also citrusy notes. I think it's a really wonderful unisex scent.

HerculesTheBerkules · 24/10/2018 16:46

I like Vetiver or Bergamote.

CadiM · 24/10/2018 17:10

LegArmpits ditto! I loved and still miss Ultima II sheer scent. I finally tried Fahrenheit but my brain gets confused with the red bottle, since Sheer Scent was that pale yellowish-green in the clear bottle which made me think of light, fresh scents but Fahrenheit is a warm, fiery aftershave, apparently.

I'm going to try out some of the vetiver / bergamot ones mentioned.

CountFosco · 24/10/2018 22:06

Guerlain Vetiver. According to DH I smell of libraries and theatre lobbies in this. What could be better?

I also love Guerlain Jicky. Lovely masculine lavender. Bliss.

Otherwise I wear a lot of niche perfumes so all very unisex and only rarely find things too masculine.

louderthan · 24/10/2018 22:15

Dior Sauvage. I absolutely love it.

bitofabelly · 25/10/2018 13:38

Cool Water

evilharpy · 25/10/2018 19:42

Cool Water was all the rage when I was at secondary school. All the girls wore it. I still love it.

I like almost anything Tom Ford with the exception of patchouli.

bitofabelly · 06/11/2018 16:07

Just to say...i ordered some Le Labo samples and I absolutely love Santal 33..fab scent
