Glycolic, vit c, retinoids...what order and what to use?! What is your skincare routine?

There are so many things now, I'm lost as to what order/frequency.

I have skin that veers towards dry and a little sensitive.

I have glycolic pads, and the ordinary vit c, aha and retinol solutions. (Can't remember names as under sleeping baby 😂)

Do you do some every day and some every other? Like, the pads every day, vit c every few days type thing?

What's your skin regime? I'm getting older and while my skin isn't bad, I want to preserve it 😁

I’m in my sixties, my skin is fine and I’ve never used anything but soap and water, and a quick smear of cheap moisturiser.
Unless you have a medical skin problem, I think all those ridiculously expensive potions are a waste of time and money.
The best thing you can do for your skin is avoid smoking - it causes increased wrinkling, and reduced blood flow to the skin - limit sun exposure during the midday hours, get plenty of sleep and eat a good diet with plenty of vegetables and fruit.
