I'm looking for short pull on/zip boots. Leather, waterproof and warm. Mostly for running around on a weekend and evenings when watching my teens play outdoor sports.

I'd like them to look a bit stylish at least, so I can feel okay about keeping them on to pop into shops etc... I already own waterproof warm lined high boots which are fugly and I now only wear them like wellies to walk the dog.

I ordered some Panama Jack boots, which are fabulous quality, but too chunky in style for me as I'm size 8-9.

They don't necessarily have to be waterproof but definitely need warm lining.

These are slightly over your budget but I thoroughly recommend uggs. I have a pair similar to this that have been going 4 years now and show no signs of wear and tear. Waterproof, leather and warm warm warm.

They also do some ankle boots that are lower if you have a look around the site

What's the sizing like on Uggs?

True to size and not narrow.

We’re the Panama Jack ones nice..? Looking at a pair online for winter city break

My DP got me ones similar to these last Christmas. They were reduced in John Lewis. Mine are dark brown nubuck and extremely cosy. I ended up getting them early because of all the snow we had last year (live in the West Midlands) and they were brilliant. I love them! I got half a size bigger though because they are quite snug.

On the Ugg I have a version (similar to the current Lorna) that must be coming up for 9 years old. Worn nearly every day in winter and only just starting to show wear (although a good polish would help). So comfy and warm - were bought for walking all round town. Thought they were expensive when I bought them but actually a bargain.

I can’t link but have a look at Teva snow boots, warm, waterproof and perfect for pitch side. I have long leather ones from a couple of years ago.
