Orange shoes - what do we think?

I am sure Aitch mentioned them on my epic skirt thread and at the time I thought Noooooooooooo

however now I am coming round to the idea

I have been trying to find a nice pair of brown pumps for ages, and it now occurs to me that orange shoes with e.g. a brown dress would look a lot more interesting than brown shoes with same

If I wear all one colour I look like a hospitality rep at a boring golfing hotel. Is not a look to go for.

No, I'm going to try them on in a rush this afternoon (HC I think it might have been Shoe Express now I think of it but will report back)

if they don't fit try Office (in fact might try Office first if they are only 15 quid)

then bring them home and do trying on things at home

have sequinned brown rocketdogs if it doesn't work

aaargh legwear problem though, was going to wear black trousers / footless tights underneath - that won't work....

hmm have brown skinny trews, but that is a VERY BROWN outfit

I am wearing the pinafore dress (see other thread) with them tomorrow rather than the orange and brown smock

Cod I couldn't see proper orange on the Office link, but will look again

went in to Office also and they had a few colours for £15 but no orange

I tried on the flower shoes and wasn't really sure. They are quite bright. And orange.

It was Shoe Express btw. They had some quite cute rocketdog style canvas pumps in orange, brown, and green for a tenner. But ds was being an arse so we left.
