Jeggings which aren't too stiff, too tight on legs, too loose round waist, and which don't smell weird?

Do they exist? I have never found a pair :((( The last ones I bought had practically fallen off by the time I had walked down one flight of stairs. Doctored them by taking in waist but now they do the sausage leg thing - and also smell weird. I really want to like them so have something as an alternative to leggings. Size 20 arse but my waist is a good size or 2 smaller, so it seems. Or don't jeggings work on pear shapes?

Have you tried the Sainsbury's ones? I've always got on really well with them. I am a 20 too on the bottom but don't have a particularly small waist and they are always a little tighter for me on that area but not enough to move up into the next size if you see what I mean.

I like the M&S ones

KittyB52 · 14/10/2018 09:15

Another vote for M&S - I am a short pear shape and these fit me fine.

Also, I don’t know what colour you bought which smell strange, but I have some black M&S jeggings which are much stiffer than the same style in grey and have a slightly weird smell to them - maybe it’s the dye?

WishfulHope · 14/10/2018 09:16

I tried lots and like m and s ones and more recently I’ve discovered Primark £7 ones are bloody fantastic

bookgirl1982 · 14/10/2018 09:17

Dorothy Perkins Eden are good value

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 14/10/2018 09:20

M&S cotton rich or something

fiorentina · 14/10/2018 14:32

M&S are great I find. Or maybe try a mom jean. Fitted but not as skinny?

greyspottedgoose · 14/10/2018 14:35

Next, although they say leggings inside them, they are definitely jeggings

SputnikBear · 14/10/2018 14:37

Another vote for M&S, they are amazing.

blackcat86 · 14/10/2018 14:48

Another vote for M&S. Love them and their just high waisted enough that you don't end up flashing your bum when you bend down.

DramaAlpaca · 14/10/2018 14:50

The M&S ones are amazing, so flattering & well fitting.

Spudlet · 14/10/2018 14:54

Just sniffing my Sainsbury's ones (black) - they do have a slight smell to them, I guess. But not noticeable imo unless you've stuck your knee up your nose Grin

holidaylady · 14/10/2018 14:54

Matalan!

cakeforone · 14/10/2018 15:33

Really tempted to try the M&S ones now after all these recommendations!

ChishandFips33 · 14/10/2018 17:20

Matalan here too!

choccyp1g · 14/10/2018 17:23

Sainsbury ones are good, but they DO smell a bit weird.

Saucery · 14/10/2018 17:26

Yet another vote for M&S, although the black ones do smell odd. The coloured ones are fine. Washed, walked in a lot, no bobbling or saggy waistband.

DoAsYouWouldBeMumBy · 14/10/2018 18:14

I like the sea salt ones - pricier, bit super flattering Smile

Cailindana23 · 14/10/2018 18:24

I love the M&S ones too. I have two pairs which I wear again and again. Really comfy and wash well too.
