Lucy and Yak dungarees- any good for shorties?

I’m 5 foot 2 so not tall, although I am slim. I keep seeing Lucy and Yak dungarees and I’m very tempted. But my brain keeps says noooo you’re too short!

I'm a short legged 5'4 size 14 pear shape and I have a pair of the black fabric Umi dungarees from Lucy & Yak.
To my surprise, I don't look like a giant toddler. They are surprisingly flattering. Mine are size L and I wear them turned up. Well worth a try for shorties I think....

They are no good if you are tall so should be perfect if short!

I wear my doc martens Lace up ankle length boots or supergas with invisible socks. I definitely need flats wih mine.

Has anyone bought one of their dungaree dresses? They only have a size XL in the colour I want... Don't want a slim fit, am 5'2", size 14 with massive boobs and hips... Would it still be too big?

I'd try it if I were you, Little. I think returns are free? The dungarees dresses are much, much more fitted than their classic dungas so you might be OK. x

Well I went for the XL and had to take it in at the back and sides, but only a little! I bought a collared shirt to go underneath and it is basically my new favourite outfit!

Looks fab, Little - great colour too! I now gave 3 pairs of their dungarees and I saw on Instagram today that they've added some new items like coats and jeans, eek. 😀

It's not even that bad a price for something that is made in the UK and a bit special... When I think New look or sainsbos are selling dunga dresses for £20 or so!

Might go for a more sensible colour to start a little collection...
