Beach cover-up and holiday clothing for size 16/18

We are soon off for only the second ever holiday based around a hotel resort and beach in Spain - and this time round I have unfortunately ballooned from a size 10/12 to a 16/18.

I am really struggling to find any kind of cover-up for around the pool/beach that isn't either a baggy sack which makes me look two sizes bigger, or something that is fitted or belted around the waist which makes me look even more pregnant than I do already (I'm not).

Can anyone suggest anything flattering please? This summer my clothes consisted of only linen trousers and plain t-shirts because I refuse to buy anything nice for myself as I hate being this size. Then I feel frumpy and awful for what I look like so its a vicious circle!

I am sorting my diet/exercise out but do some help on what to wear to cover-up. We're only going for a beach holiday for DS(3) otherwise this sort of holiday baring my body is my idea of hell Blush

I bought this to wear to a party in the summer but I reckon it would work well as a beach cover up. Really light and floaty. Have a lovely holidaySmile

I’m at size 16 and I live in these camisole tops from Asda direct.asda.com/george/womens/tops/teal-double-layer-camisole/GEM650385,default,pd.html
I size down to a 14 as I feel they come up slightly big. They fit really nicely and hide a multitude of sins. I tend to wear them with jeggings or fitted shorts as I like shape it gives.
The camisole tops are fantastic; great quality, lightweight and they don’t tend to wrinkle. Perfect for packing for holiday. I love these tops so much I now have over 15 of them in the various colours they do.
Even now the temperature is colder I wear them with a fitted tshirt underneath for a layer look which I like.

Have a look at Aspiga and Boden clearance section.
