talcy0 · 13/06/2007 21:23

Loving lots of the next clothes...they all too short though[lifty up arms...showing belly]

expatinscotland · 13/06/2007 21:23

Wot, no Matalan?

Bollocks! I'm never moving to Ireland, then, on top of the fact that they have trouble saying 'th' .

peachygirl · 13/06/2007 21:23

I think next is rubbish too Everything is a really bad fit for me especially the petites. MIL has given me a voucher for the last two christmases cos BIL suggested it for my SIL.
There are a few nice baby bits

CatIsSleepy · 13/06/2007 21:23

harleyd you hate TopShop ?

i admit...the hordes of teenaged girls make me feel a bit aged...but it seems to be the only place i can get a decent pair of jeans (petite, cos I'm a shortarse)

fireflyfairy2 · 13/06/2007 21:24

There's a Matalan in Belfast I think, but you're in Southern Ireland aren't you KM?

I got a nice pair of white linen trousers in Next on Saturday.. £18 & they are lovely! They do petite too which means I don't have to get clothes altered

fireflyfairy2 · 13/06/2007 21:25

I like topshop but I am a generous 14 & they don't fit me

There's an Asda near me too... so move to the North of Ireland.. and we don't have any problems pronouncing our th's

expatinscotland · 13/06/2007 21:26

No, NI people just say 'eight' funny.

Aye, Kerry's in . . . Kerry, ROI.

MrsBadger · 13/06/2007 21:26

we have a Next to Nothing that brings it down to Primark prices, at which point it starts to be worth it, and (randomly) their Long jeans fit me a treat. Not at full price though.

Damned handy for matwear though.

nally · 13/06/2007 21:26

MrsB where are you?

expatinscotland · 13/06/2007 21:27

All the more reason to avoid it, Kerry .

It's a great place to land, though, before you get on the motorway and head off to Dublin .
