Underskirts? What do you wear?

Okay, so I’ve spent years wearing jeans virtually all the time, but over the summer, I bought a few skirts and decided I’d like some for winter. I love wearing them with tights, but find they get stuck and the skirts end up being sucked between my legs as I walk. What do people do to stop this? My mum says to wear a petticoat, but do people still do this. I’ve always thought it a bit old fashioned, but now I’m wondering.

Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks

Yep, a petticoat is usually the answer. I find the riding up happens with skirts lined with cotton, and also unlined cotton skirts. Skirts lined with polyester are usually fool-proof, but that doesn't seem a popular combination at the moment.

I cut out a lot of cotton linings Smile.

Yep, totally do this. I have half slips and full slips, usually from M&S.

Thanks-you! I will have a look at M&S!
