Brown dress to a wedding OK? Ettikquetti is not my strength.

Bear with me - I really am clueless.

Is a nice brown dress OK for a summer (jewish) wedding? Hat is optional, yes?

It's not what I'd pick up off the rail for the purpose - and I know black and white are no-nos. I do love the dress though - and I can't really afford a new one.

I have never heard of a problem with a brown dress. Wear it!

Brown's fine, I think. Go for it!

I've worn brown to a wedding before.

I'll hold my head up high, knowing that MN approves .
