I'm looking for winter shoes and/or boots that I can wear with skinny/slim smart trousers (work trousers). And also shoes or boots for the winter to wear with skinny jeans.
I'm not keen on heels but am ok with wedges or a very low heel (but not kitten heels). I'd ideally like a few pairs to go with work outfits, jeans and also evening 'going to the pub or for a meal' shoes/boots - all to be paired with skinny or very slim trousers and jeans.
I'm mid forties if that makes any difference, and I'm pretty short at 5 ft 2. I struggle with Chelsea boots and skinny jeans as I don't know wear to put the hems of my jeans - inside or outside the boot?? If I roll them up to skim the top of the boot then I end up with a daft-looking thick chunky roll when I'm stood up, which then rises up halfway up my calf when I sit down, revealing loads of winter-white legs
