Possibly a patchy orange one!

Top tip for the morning: Orange patches can be removed by rubbing with whitening toothpaste!

madmarchhare · 11/06/2007 21:29

oh dear

LucyJones · 11/06/2007 21:30

get in the shower quick

Boco · 11/06/2007 21:31

Get an old flannel - rub your knees, shins and wrists or you may look like your liver has stopped working.

schneebly · 11/06/2007 21:38

after careful inspection this morning I am relatively streak free! I think it helps that it is a very natural colour and not too obvious. Phew!

capp i found that gradual tan moisturiser got really blotchy over time (eg on arms)

which one do you use?

plummymummy · 12/06/2007 09:21

I have used almost every one going and always get orange patches or white patches. Even when I paid to have it applied it was patchy. I am very pale so I suppose that doesn't help.

frascati · 12/06/2007 09:29

Loreal nutrisummer gradual tanner everytime. It is fab!

nappyaddict · 12/06/2007 09:36

has anyone used piz buin, olay, garnier or boots soltan. they are the only every day moisturiser type ones i haven't tried yet but i wasn't successful with others despite exfoliating and using a mitt.

sugarfree · 12/06/2007 09:55

Frascati,is that the spray one?Think thats what I've been using every couple of days, and it's a bit patchy on me.Vey gradual effect though so not too noticeable.(I hope)

nappyaddict · 12/06/2007 10:03

did you exfoliate before?

SilentTerror · 12/06/2007 11:16

I have a rub over with dry exfoliating gloves every other day or so,seems to stop patchiness I think!
The best fake tan I have used is St Tropez mousse, the best gradual every day moisturiser one is either Nutrishimmer(l'oreal) or Nivea on me.

sugarfree · 12/06/2007 11:18

Always exfoliate.(even if I'm not using fake tan)I have shocking knees and elbows if I don't.

nappyaddict · 12/06/2007 12:02

have you tried using a mitt?

Cappuccino · 12/06/2007 12:15
