primark linen trousers

Anyone bought any??

I wanted to know what the size came up like, I normally have to buy a size bigger in there.

I bought some a couple of weks ago (the £8 long ones in leaf green) and found they came up big. I bought a 12, my usual size, and lets just say I have to make sure I tie them at the waist.

Someone else had the same problem (MrsBadger?) -there was a recent thread along the lines of "Anyone been to Primark recently" and the linen trousers were mentioned but I think others found them small

I've got a pair of the cropped linen ones, and I reckon they come up a little big - I have the 14 and they are looser round the bum than I would expect (hooray!) . Usually things are huge on the waist for me and then tight over bum/thighs, but I think the legs of these are cut more generously, waist is about normal. Depends where you carry your spare tyre... Not that I'm implying you have a spare tyre.

wilbur I have more then 1 spare tyre , will have to try and get to primark to get some.

I'll repeat my ramblings from the other thread as I think it was me who found them both small and big. I think they must have two different styles on the go as they had some at £10 and I found them on the small side but when I went back I couldn't find the £10 ones but they had loads of £8 pairs and they are deffo more generous, so I bought two pairs!

toomuchtodo, as far as I can see they don't have the clothing on-line, I've found the Primark website but it seems to be about the company rather than showing the clothes they sell.

i bought a 12, and they were really nicely big! (so big that i had to take them back, then they'd all gone!)

my mum has some...the £8 ones (also a 12, shes usually a 14). they're great, she said they came up nicer after washing and washed really well.......

is it an age thing, talking about the way clothes wash??????
