I am confused about what to wear.
Am going to a gala event at Parliament- not dinner- drinks and canapés on a weeknight from 7-9.30.
Contacted the organiser to ask about dress code and was told smart business. Invitation has now come through and say formal attire but not black tie!
Does that mean the same? I was planning to wear a quite business like trouser suit but really don't want to get it wrong...
Help needed!
