Menopausal acne. I've got spots IN MY NOSE!!!

Not a typo. I've got a few custard loaded pustules in my nostrils. I can't make paragraphs, so I'll make this short. I started using Nip&Fab glycolic toner and all of a sudden, submerged blackheads are appearing as pustules. I also have nostril spots. What the hell is going on???

Sorry, posted too soon. Again, lost the ability to produce paragraphs. Obviously, I'm not using the Nip&Fab stuff up my nose.

Me too! Paragraphs and spots. My hair is greasy, my skin breaks out constantly and this morning I pulled an inch long hair from under my chin. Oh and my arse has disappeared and migrated to my gut. Gutted

I have never had sots on my neck double chin before. Even at the height of my greasy teen years. Hair is fine though.

Sometimes antibiotics or prescribed cream might be needed to shift pustules up your nostrils.

I've been Googling nostril zits. Nasal vestibulitis can be caused by hormonal changes, nose picking 😳 and rosacea. All three here. Will ask for antibiotics when I next go to the GP.

I had pretty much the same thing during my early 40s all over my face. I tried everything, vitamins, facial scrubs, clean pillow case every day, and nothing worked. After a couple of years of genuine misery and collapse of my self esteem, I went to the doctor, who said it was not unusual at all in the perimenopause. She put me on the Pill, for a maximum of 2 1/2 years, and it was little short of a miracle cure. I was very scared to come off it after the 2 1/2 years but thankfully it had got me through whatever hormone imbalance I had, and it never came back. Definitely worth trying. Oh God me too. Regular as clockwork I now get a very tender zit inside my right nostril and a very sore patch on my gum once a month. I'm in my 40s so assume it's some hormonal shite going on? Plus my bum and thighs have really shrunk but my midriff has developed barrell like proportions

Ohhhh. I’m not alone . I have it everywhere atm. I’m miserable. I didn’t do well on the pill. So next appointment I will be asking what else I could try. I’ve also tried numerous antibiotics.

I've definitely had more spots on my nose during meno, got a lovely one currently :( but not inside, don't know if it's unusual or not but sounds ouch op. 💐💐

Tis ouchy. I am allergy prone and keep rubbing my nose. It's very tender.

Am off sick with a migraine.

I'm starting to look like some plague victim.....
