Best wool/cashmere scarves and hats that aren’t £££

I want a new scarf and hat and I want real wool or cashmere. I’ve seen a cashmere beret and scarf at John Lewis that comes to £90 for both, but they’re quite plain. I like them but wondered if there’s anywhere else that does affordable non-acrylic knit stuff. Under £100 for hat and scarf, preferably, so not Brora etc.

Try TK Maxx, get in early as soon as they get winter stuff in.

I looked at joules - the hats are lambs wool but the scarves are acrylic! Why!

I bought cashmere hats, scarves and gloves from Uniglo in Autumn last year for gifts. They were beautiful, but I must warn you they were in the sale before Christmas.

I have a lovely big cashmere scarf from H&M - it was £40, I think they sell them every year and the sell cashmere beanies as do Uniqlo.

Oh, yes COS. I've a cashmere hat from there that's good quality. And a merino ribbed one that's super soft.

Cos do them every year, usually grey, black, camel and a brighter colour

Maybe a bit expensive but they usually have great sales/discount codes and right now there is a competition to win £500 worth of cashmere accessories.
