How often do you get your roots done?

I try to leave mine for about 10 weeks, but towards the end of that period they're starting to look a bit rough. Should I be getting them done more often?

i do mine about every 6-8 weeks, much to dps bank balances dissappointment

i don't die my hair for this reason but my sister gets hers done every 8 weeks.

Every 5/6 weeks

I have mine done about every eight weeks but go in at four weeks to have a t-section done - parting and front hairline. Is really quick as no cutting etc. and is cheaper.

Or wear a stretchy hair band thing or buy that hair root paint stuff.

every 3 weeks, it's probably not that necessary but I am obsessed and don't like any regrowth

Try for 6 weeks but lately seems to need doing after 3! Stretch it a week so about 4 weeks. Thank God it's cheaper here than in UK!

Great, now I feel guilty about not getting my roots done while I browse mumsnet. And it's been about 10 weeks, EVERYONE now knows how grey I am, and I still can't get top the bloody hairdresser.

Get my highlights redone whenever I go to hairdressers - sao bout once every 3 months or so. I am very lax!

Haven't had mine done since January.

DDs shrink with embarrassment every time they are forced to walk anywhere with me.

I just can't get hold of my hairdresser - that's my excuse.

BTW, I have no grey hair - I just have the highlights to brighten up the colour already there.

Started going grey when I was 12. Gave up at 38 and went blonde.
