I need a Snow White (Once Upon A Time) dress!

So. I need to dress like Snow from once upon a time. A lovely royal princess fairytale old fashioned type dress. But I’m not a millionaire so I’m hoping I can throw something together from EBay and the like. Or just a reasonably priced shop!
But I’ve no idea what to put in the search bar that doesn’t just give me cheap polyester Disney fancy dress costumes!
Any ideas?

Ooh thank you i love those ideas! I’ve got a little while to sort it so will keep looking but now I’ve got some ideas for search terms etc. That gold wedding dress is amazing!

Can you sew?
I've had to make princess dresses for charity functions on tiny budgets before.
I raided charity shops for curtains, which make great princess dress fabric, and sheets and duvet covers. And I bought a cheap sewing patterns off eBay.
I bought one of those 'sexy princess' polyester nightmares for one and made a skirt to go underneath. Long skirts are easy to make and it looked pretty good as a while thing.
They ended up at about £50 each.
If you want a bell shaped dress crinolines or hooked petticoats are cheap on ebay.

Or alternatively if you have a theatre nearby that rents their costumes out?
