How can Crocs not be noticeable lol, ruddy great plastic boats of colour ! Hardly subtle (saw man in yellow with blacks socks) !! We'll be dodging the style police I think !!

We just got back from our Holiday in Spain and my two wore theirs every day. dd doesn't like wearing her Clarks sandals without socks so she only wore them in the the evening with pretty dresses and frilly socks.
They do wear those wetsuit type shoes on the beach aswell. They can keep them on when they're on the sand in in the sea.

I didn't see any other children in crocs though. Bucket and spade shops were full of fakes and they had real ones in other shops.

But I did see a grown up lady at the airport in a really yukky orange pair.

Yes I did cos I needed something for the beach! Hmm, I got chocolate brown. THey look fine on teh beach and fine with my slouch jeans but look a bit like boats if I have cropped jeans on - no problem on hols but probably wouldn't wear like that here.

We're going away on similar hol in August so they'll do for then too. We go on lots of Cornwall, Wales, Lakes, Scotland type holidays so they will get used then on farms, beaches, rivers etc.

Saw lots of people wearing bright yellow, bright pink, bright orange which were a bit garish! I wanted silver but couldn't get any.

it's so funny, they are only just taking orf in harrogate and everyone is exclaiming over them. I daren't sneer too much or I might 'out' myself in the playground

filthymindedvixen · 10/06/2007 10:10

I do quite like 'em BTW but I cannot bear to be wearing the same as everyone else in the playground!
