What is it with ELDERFLOWER Cordial and Badoit!?

Please tell me what I am missing. EVERYWHERE I go I am offered Elderflower in sparkling water. As soon as summer comes, people are all about elderflower, and what farm shop they got it from... never mind the supermarket. What is this? Have people stopped buying diet coke, or what?

Please I am a dietcoke addict, and husband has banned it from the house, now even HE is advocating elderflower..... in STILL tap water though....

add some white wine to it - have just been plied with the stuff all afternoon at a bbq. Was quite tasty

Diet coke yuk yuk yuk. Elderflower is lovely (but my mother used to make it with us when we were little, and then freeze it, so I always think of it as a treat). Some brands are much nicer than other though. I like it still myself Oh, and it's very easy to make btw.

What's Badoit?

My granny used to make Elderflower champagne. The smell of elderflowers still reminds me of childhood summers.
